Starting July 15 to Middle of September 2022, Workers no need to work in the heat from 12:00pm to 03:00pm.
According to the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Labor the workers will not need to work in the heat from July 15, 2022 to Middle of September 2022, The ministry take this precusion to protect the safety and health of workers.
During this three-month all the private sector companies and establishments is Forbidden to forsing worker to working under the sun between 12:00pm to 03:00pm.
If any firm, private sector, companies, and establishments force worker to working in heat they will have to pay the fine of SR 3,000 to SR 10,000.
The amount of the fine will be multiplied with the number of workers involved in the violation. The penalties also include closing down the company for a period of 30 days or even it may shutting down permanently, or imposing both that is fine and closure the company.
However, there will be exemptions for outdoor work bans in some regions of the Kingdom in view of the difference in weather that decrease temperatures in those areas.
The work ban will not be applicable for those employees working at petroleum, gas and emergency maintenance companies, which still need to take measures to protect their workers from the heat.

For the first time in the year of 2010 Ministry stated that no firms are allowed to force their employees to work in the heat from 12:00 pm to 03:00 pm in each summer.
